County Court dismisses claim for possession against profoundly deaf gay man who cannot speak

Garden Court Chambers reports on case where local authority argued that defendant couldn't succeed to tenancy because hadn't been open about same sex relationship with partner before his death, but Judge held that local authority had failed to show the required delicacy and sensitivity that such a case required.
