joint claim/child under one (JSA)
client has been advised that she and partner (no exemptions ) will both have to sign on when thie child reaches 3 months.
doe s this sound correct?

No you don’t have to claim joint-claim JSA if one of couple is responsible for a child - see CPAG pg 46 - Reg 3A(1) JSA Regs
Thanks for your reply the advice by JSA that as a child had reached 3 months they had to claim jointly did not seem correct
