Forgive me if this has been covered already but does anyone know when (or for that matter if) the pension credit change for qualifying couples will be applied (i.e. the change from either over pension age to both over pension age).

The last I heard was that it was intended to be introduced October 2013.

But of course it was also intended that it would be introduced WITH UC. (Mind you the conditionality changes were a part of UC and they are being introduced anyway).

So is the PC change occuring yet or not?

As it is linked to UC I would imagine it will have to wait until it is the route for couples claiming where one is not PC age. But hope that HB do not start to apply the condition of both at PC age to under occupation from October!!

I had been told earlier this year that, back then the date had been moved to June 2014,but now with the limited role out for only for JSA, that date is probably irrelevant. Huge sigh of relief to me, as I retire Jan 2014 with a younger partner. Our life under UC doesn’t bare thinking about.
