Question, will my client have to wait until the notice period ends or would have ended to get JSA , he has been made redundant and had pay in lieu of notice, CPAG says it is disregarded but implies client will still have to wait as he is considered to be in work during the period for which PILON is paid. Please be as specific as possible in any replies

Thanks everyone, I had a wobbly moment not sure if it was taken into account but now it looks clear that it is not and benefit can start immediately. I think I may also have won my little wager with a colleague ;)
