Client victim of Carers Allowance fraud

My client appears to have been the victim of a fraudulent claim for Carers Allowance resulting in an overpayment of severe disability premium. This dates from the period approx 2019-2021.

He has been to several other organisations and the case was, apparently, at one point raised by his MP but there has been no outcome and he continues to have deductions taken from his ESA.

Having spoken to both ESA and Carers Allowance I was told to report this again to the Fraud Hotline. I doubt if anything will happen and I was told my client will not be updated on the case.

I’m therefore looking for ideas on how I can progress this for the client
