Escalation route for PIP
Hi, anybody know of an escalation route for PIP? I’ve got a client whose appeal was heard last October but has yet to receive any money. She’s completed 2 x ‘Have you been in hospital forms’ and given them her bank details. I’ve written 2 letters but still nothing. Slightly complicated in that she can’t use the phone but other than that a bog-standard PIP claim/appeal so puzzled by the lack of payment. Any ideas ?
I’d check with the helpline (if you can get through) confirm they have received your letters with I assume her signed authority?) and then request a call back from the case manager/appeals team
Deleted.

This helpline are massively helpful but are not replicated elsewhere geographically sadly. They may well be able to signpost accordingly though?

Please take that down. They might be helpful but there’s only two people on that team and they’ll get deluged while it’s in the public domain.
Noted. Can do that now. Anyone who wants it can have a DM.
Previous experience suggests they’ll be deluged because they’re under-resourced and not because the general public will be on here.
Suzie will need to delete her post to make it effective though.

The deleted email address above has advised me that there is no similar team or service at any other service centre, unfortunately.
