my client has claimed UC, he was asked to provide iD in the form of a photo of himself holding his passport, he could not find his passport and the claim was closed, he asked for an MR but got no response, as his claim is closed I assume UC are no longer dealing with hin=m via the uC journal, i admit this all sounds rather odd !!!!!
what should my client do now,
make a fresh UC claim
make an appeal direct to Tribunal as UC are ignoring him
something else

Hi Diogenes,

He should download the decision letters from his journal and screenshot the MR before making a new claim because the history will be wiped from his view. The MR should still have gone to a decisionmaker, even though the journal is closed. DWP will put an MRN on the journal even when the claim is closed.

He can then progress the appeal to close his claim as normal.

thanks Rebecca, luckily he has done some screen shots and it turns out he has an MR outcome though he did not realise it, the mR outcome just says , we have not change our decision, not even dated on the outcome,
so we will appeal and make a fresh claim
any further comments welcome on this issue
