Our client is on ESA and has received a very large arrears payment. She has also had a migration notice. The arrears payment should be disregarded both while she is on ESA and when she migrates to UC. Does anyone know at what point in the UC claiming process does she inform UC that her capital is to be disregarded? Will that come up in the online form-filling or will it be at some other point? Would it be advisable for her to make a telephone claim instead?

Paul, I would be tempted to advise writing something on the UC journal immediately after submitting the claim. So its part of the electronic paper-trail.

Similarly, the legislation carrying over LCW or LCWRA and not lawful requirement for fit notes.
