Students with Children

Can a couple - both F/T students - claim UC housing costs? Presumably they can get child element for their child but wondered about housing costs.

As long as they meet an exception to the normal requirement not to be receiving education (exceptions are in regulation 14 of the UC regs) which includes couples responsible for a child, there are no additional hurdles preventing inclusion of the housing costs element.
