Have I completely misread this or have they drastically reduced the amount of help you can get with Childcare down to £122.84 for one child and £210.58 for two or more (weekly figures) - regs 34 and 36. What is the rationale behind this? The previous briefing note had them at the same level as in WTC. Any thoughts?

The figures in the regs are those after the application of the 70% rule. It is a bit confusing that they’ve decided to express them that way.

I thought it made more sense than saying ‘the maximum is this figure times 70%’, given that the end result is the same figure.
