UC have always famously declared there are no timescales/targets for revision requests…

“I have gone ahead and raised a Mandatory reconsideration on your LCWRA awarded date. This can take up to 30 days for a decision maker to look into. You will be notified the outcome via your journal.”

Is this just a helpful case manager, or a policy change?  Hopefully the latter! :-)

Neither - it’s someone who has suffered a serious blow to the head and who, in all probability, will soon find themselves having to claim UC themselves.

Had one recently where they initially said we couldn’t request MR till the sanction had ended - I’ll admit they’re quite creative with their spurious reasons.

Slightly snippy message from the appointee on the journal re that, was sent to a DM the same day with the usual “can’t say how long it will take” and got the favourable MR decision back the next day.

It’s quite wearing never knowing what they will do.

They may just have misspelled “months”
