New HMRC figures also highlight that 9.6m jobs have been furloughed over the period to 9 August 2020
The total value of claims made to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CRJS) now stands at more than £34 billion, according to new government figures.
With 9.6 million jobs having been furloughed over the period to 9 August 2020, and 1.2 million employers having taken advantage of the scheme, HMRC has confirmed today that the total value of claims made is £34.7 billion, an increase of £6 billion over the last 4 weeks -
