HI,

My first post here so please bear with me.

I have had a request from an organisation that works with children under 18 years old. They said that they have been providing bridging payments to estranged and homeless young people. But in doing so the YP has been refused an application for SHP. They obviously want to avoid these difficulties and have asked that I write a letter on their behalf to explain that there under to legal obligation to provide for the YP and that they should allow the application for SHP.

What do you suggest I should put in the letter.

Many thanks to you all,

James

could you just explain a bit more about the bridging payments - are they are one off or regular and how much are they?
