Client dismissed for gross misconduct (no chance of appealing sanction which we assume will be full amount) He is eligible for cb JSA, partner works 5hrs per week, 2 children. Considering what would happen if partner made couples claim for JSA and how that might work in practice.

Can’t believe it is a way out i.e. getting couples rate JSA or at least a top up of ib JSA if they took cb JSA as notional income?  but couldn’t find anything specific in usual sources of info.
Any help appreciated, thanks

There shouldn’t be any problem if his partner claims.  And, notional income won’t come into it.
