Last year infringement proceedings were launched against the UK on the issue of whether NHS cover was sufficient to meet the health insurance limb of right to reside on the basis of self suffiicency in the residence directive. Does anybody know what has happened with this since and how long the whole business might take?

It was the AIRE centre that inspired the infringement proceedings, maybe you could ask them We went to a conferene with them not long ago and I got the imression it was not going to be a quick process.
