Hi all,

Does anybody know if someone has a sanction on JSA and stops their JSA claim and then claims Income Support within the JSA sanction period, will the sanction transfer on to the Income Support claim?

I know that if a claimant on JSA is sanctioned, stops the JSA claim then claims JSA again within the sanction period the sanction still applies until the sanction period comes to an end. However I cannot find anything on whether the sanction would transfer on to the new Income Support claim?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks.
