Does Lord Fraud’s announcement regarding direct payments circumvent the Local Suport Services Framework?

The cohort of CPNs I work with are itching to know where the proverbial alarm bell will be when their clients are shunted onto UC. If they are not placed straight onto direct payments it will cause tremendous hardship (but we knew that).

And, of course, 2 months is enough to evict an introductory tenancy if a landord is so inclined.

As usual, it is always the most vulnerable people who are put at risk when benefit changes are introduced
