Does anyone know of a Housing Association that has managed to get, from the Local Authority, a list of its tenant with non-dependant deductions? i.e. one that hasn’t pleaded data protection?

We have got a list from our main LA, with much pleading!

They either called claimants to advise of changes to non dep charges and asked if they could provide info to us or wrote to them giving them 28 days to opt out otherwise the information would be sent to us.

We’ve now had a list and are ploughing through them.  Its actually a very useful exercise, we have come across so many claims where either the non dep charge is incorrect, shouldnt be there at all or the non dep is actually a joint tenant.

we’ve got one, without too much trouble I think, but we do have a close working relationship with HB.

Hi
do you know what system your Benefits Department is using -can this be done from Academy? This would be very useful to check as bound to be some errors or out of date info etc

Thanks
