Hi

Just a reminder that the next NAWRA meeting is taking place this coming Friday in Bristol.  We have had some difficulty uploading the agenda to the website (those pesky technical gremlins!) so here is an edited version:

- Guest speaker:
Professor Paul Gregg, Professor of Economics, Centre for Market and Public Organisation, University of Bristol.  We are very pleased to welcome Professor Gregg who will talk about the implications of Universal Credit.  I am sure there will be opportunity to also discuss his recent criticism of the WCA (/www.rightsnet.org.uk/news/story/wca-is-badly-malfunctioning/)
- Workshop sessions:
(1) ESA medicals – the ATOS perspective
(2) Housing Benefit and Local Housing allowance
(3) Social Policy and networking
(4) Making your funding go further – working with non-specialist staff (NB: This workshop will run during the morning session only)
(5) Take-up opportunities for DLA high rate mobility and severe visual impairment (NB: This workshop will run during the afternoon session only)

If you are traveliing to Bristol on Thursday, come and join us from 7pm at Renato’s, 19 King Street, Bristol BS1 4EF.  You can just come for a drink, enjoy a pizza in the bar area or if you want to be a bit more classy go to the restaurant upstairs. Plenty of other food places are also available in the area.

Hope to see you there.

Best wishes,

Alan Markey
