Can someone point me in the direction of the piece of legislation which amends the definition of ‘young individual’ in the Housing Benefit regulations.  I simply cannot find them. All this stuff about changing the bed sit rate from up to 25 to up to 35 must have a legislative base. the SI number would be sufficient. Thanks.

I don’t think there are any regs yet - that change is expected April 2012 - see this thread..

Thanks for the reply. The SI’s you mention i have. I thought, as is my want, that i’d missed something. I’m just relieved i haven’t and i’ll just have to keep a look out for when it appears.
