Keeping up to £15 Max. HB excess question
I know this vanishes in April, but… is there any reason why someone entitled to the one bedroom rate but renting a two roomed house shouldn’t keep any excess if the 2 bed rent is below the 1 room LHA?
Query 2. How does the excess bit work where the landlord is having the rent paid direct?
1) No reason at all
2) Seperate payment of up to £15.00 is sent direct to the claimant.
