New Deal and Childcare Costs

We have a client who is taking part in a new deal course. She has two children and has been told that childcare costs can be met but only up to 70% of what she pays, they have quoted her the WTC childcare costs, from what I can make out.

My client will not be able to continue with the course if she has to meet the cost. Other people on her course are having their childcare costs met in full.

I’ve had a look around and can’t really find anything.

Does anyone have any answers and if so where can I get those answers i.e. webpage etc?

Many thanks.

I am assuming that you mean a work programme course, the guidance for providers is that people should not be worse off and the provider should pay for childcare

No it is not part of the work programme. It is a new deal for lone parents scheme
