David Pitchford, head of the Major Projects Authority, who was put in command of the Universal Credit project (sinking ship?) after all the original senior staff ‘left’, resigned today.

There can’t be many staff left… one wonders what sort of person would be brave/stupid/mad (delete as appropriate) enough to take on that job!

Universal Credit is on time and on budget. It is a twenty-first century benefit for a twenty-first century society, it will make work pay and put an end to the culture of welfare dependency, strivers, skivers, wombats, hamsters,  plebzzzzzzz… bzzzt, skraaaaawwwkkkk, error-error-error- overload - bzzzzzzt -loss of control - self-destruct engaged…........................... we apologise for the loss of service.
