Trying to find some helpful UT decisions re the definition of ‘estranged’ but am drawing a blank. Scenario is that client is still in contact with parents but is unable to return home due to a variety of factors (including overcrowding). DWP has taken the view that as relationship is amicable client is not estranged. I’m sure I’ve seen decision I could use to dispute this approach but can’t find it for love nor money.

If anyone has any ideas/links I would be most grateful (as always)...
