104 week time limit for housing costs – Question?

Hi I am trying to look for ways to save a client from being repossessed.  Clients housing costs are about to be stopped due to the 104 week limit.

Client was receiving JSA (IB).  If he was to stop claiming JSA (IB) and make a claim for Carers Allowance and Income Support would the 104 week time limit for Mortgage interest payments start again? (Supposing his wife was receiving MR care of DLA).

Any other ideas very much appreciated.

Hi

There is no time limit on housing costs with income support so he could continue to receive SMI indefinitely.
