I have a client awaiting R2R decision re. IS claim and would like to hurry them up as the client is in desperate circs.  Has anyone got a direct contact number and will contacting them hurry them up?

I was once inadvertently given a phone number for them via local BDC but when I rang it they refused to speak to me, were furious that I had been given the number, and referred me back to local BDC. I tried it again once, long afterwards, when desperate, but it no longer worked.

I have a theory that the Wick office doesn’t actually exist. It’s a phantom office and the real RTR team is housed in an underground bunker somewhere.

I only have a fax number. Let me know if you want it.

Just to update this thread for anyone interested:

I spoke to the manager of the IS section at our local BDC regarding the info from Tom H.  He told me BDCs have an e-mail address to contact Wick if needed.  He told me he would e-mail Wick and ask them to contact me about our case.  This is a case involving real hardship and so hats off to the aforementioned IS section manager for realising something needs to be done.

I bet they don’t phone me though.

If they don’t telephone you within a three hour call back request I would go back to the IS supervisior and make a formal complaint.

Trouble is, in practise, asking to speak to an IS supervisor will only result in a further call-back request (and whoever rings you back will neither be the supervisor nor ring you at a moment when you happen to be available).

The usual procedure round our way if the system notes confirm no one has attempted to call you back within the 3 hour window is a 1 hour ‘priority call back’. Thia usually results in a call (if not I’d be lodging a written complaint).

Slaw, I hope you got a progress on your case but if still no luck send me your contact detail e.g. email address.
