Tackling Child Poverty In London - What Works?
Tue 04-Jul-06 10:12 AM

The London Child Poverty Commission is requesting evidence of good practice examples of projects and initiatives that tackle both the impact and causes of child poverty in London.

The Commission is particularly interested in projects that are working with parents and/or children in any of the following areas: labour market (improving access to employment and training); housing; improving life chances; and mental health.

It is particularly interested in projects or initiatives that take an innovative/creative approach to tackling the causes of child poverty and projects which are good examples of partnership working. Examples are sought from both the voluntary and community sector and statutory sector.

The Commission is also interested in receiving anonymised case studies that highlight the challenges and barriers faced by your service users or how a service has assisted individuals.

The deadline for all submissions is Monday 31 July 2006.

Further information and how to contribute is available here.
