Free school meals

Can anyone tell me whether the child tax credit threshold of £13,480 a year for claiming free school meals has been uprated for 2005?

Thanks

£13,910 ??

on http://www.governornet.co.uk (info for school governers) it says that -

'From 6 April 2005, children whose parents receive Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance, support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 or Child Tax Credit (provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit) and have an annual income, as assessed by the Inland Revenue, that does not exceed £13,910 will be entitled to receive free school meals and free board and lodgings during residential school trips.'

see - http://www.governornet.co.uk/publishArticle.cfm?contentid=724&topicAreaId=28&pageStart=1&sortOrder=title&searchWhere=all&searchString=free%20school%20meals

think this is right .... have had a search of the hmso site ... the most recent stat instrument that i could come up with was The Education (Free School Lunches) (Prescribed Tax Credits) (England) Order 2003

... this links entitlement to FSM to 'an annual income not exceeding the amount determined for the purposes of s.7(1)(a) of the Tax Credits Act 2002'

the 'manner in which amounts to be determined for the purposes of section 7(1)(a) of the Act' is set out in the Tax Credits (Income Thresholds and Determination of Rates) Regulations 2002 ... at reg 3

and the last piece of the jigsaw is that the Tax Credits Up-rating Regulations 2005 substitute the figure of £13,480 in reg 3 of the Income Thresholds Regulations with £13,910
