In Scotland these W&S charges are seperate from the actual Council tax amounts but are collected by the Local Council on behalf of Scottish Water ect.

I have heard through the grape vine that a recent Judicial Review might have resulted in Council's being told they are unable to collect this money on behalf off a private compnay (Scottish Water) by using the summary warrant proceedure?

Anyone heard or have access to this court info as it could have big bearings for Scotland if its right.
