I'm looking for some advice, client, single man, lives alone , no disabilities and homeless. He may have found private let , but the landlord is asking for a full months rent up front and deposit which amounts to approx £1k. Client only on PA of IS and the local rent deposit scheme available through the LA guarantees the deposit but does not pay monies up front to landlord. BL is in clients view not an option as he cannot afford to repay loan from his 56.20 IS( not that's theres any chance of him getting £1k from social fund here) Any info on how best to proceed would be gratefully received.
