another case of severe discomfort ignored?
“We can’t talk about individual cases, but if a (sic) someone feels that a decision is wrong they can get in touch with us and we will look at again. Disability Living Allowance isn’t paid based on the condition someone has, but on the extra costs they may have because of their specific needs or difficulties.”
Classic - not only do they make a highly questionable decision - to be fair it does depend on how the individual concerned reflected their difficulties on the form lol - but the DWP compound their error - in WRA’s eyes at least - by confusing the intention behind the benefit as a supportive allowance, with the actual conditions of entitlement….sigh
