cancelling PIP form
Has anyone had a client ring DWP PIP and inform they of worsening of condition, but once they received the PIP form to complete they realise they can’t get anything higher and successfully rung PIP back and cancelled the form?
It would apply to any of the forms really.
When I was doing more front line work, I would make these sorts of calls fairly frequently and never had any trouble getting them to withdraw the ‘unplanned review’. Can’t speak to whether that has changed.
Note that if you do not succeed in getting the process stopped, then your client needs to return the form by the deadline set or they risk having their award ended entirely.
