UC roll out delays
Does anyone know how to find an up to date list of postcodes that are going live (or not) after the delays announced next week. I know we can search on individual postcodes but need a list or map to try and plan use of resources
Like this do you mean?
This tells you the new dates of the Full Service Universal Credit dates
Hi Maggie -
I think it looks like this .....
- the only GB* postcodes we know that that the full service is rolling out to are contained in SI.No.952/2017 which provides for rollout between 4 October 2017 and 24 January 2018
- the post-budget announcement of slowdown in rollout relates to the post-Jan 2018 period: “To allow these improvements to be made as quickly as possible, we will also be changing the rate of Universal Credit full service rollout for 3 months from February 2018 to 10 jobcentres a month, increasing to 41 in May 2018.”
- post-Jan 2018, we don’t yet have postcodes .. only this schedule of local auth/jobcentre areas: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/662950/universal-credit-transition-rollout-schedule.pdf
nb - the regs that confirm the postcodes are usually very last minute ... for example, the regs above that applied from 4 october were only published on the 2nd!
* for NI, the postcodes are available @ https://www.communities-ni.gov.uk/publications/universal-credit-roll-out-by-postcode
Cheers - Shawn
