Older person in mixed age couple with AA
There are very serious problems for people with AA and younger partners under the UC draft regs.
Details on my blog at http://bit.ly/ggNELI
Given the detailed scrutiny these drafts go through, it’s a pretty big mistake. Given the abolition of SDP etc. and the £10bn of further cuts being looked for, I hope you’re right.
Good Point. I intend to send info re capital limits and the effect of the differences between the current pension ages for men and women - re my initial post (PC in UC).
I’m completing a couple of case studies combining the cuts to DLA and the mixed aged couple rule, where one has reached PCQA.
Its based on my family circumstances (a couple and a non dependant son) - as a family we could potentially lose between £300pw-£475pw. At the moment I feel as if someone pulled the rug out from underneath me and I’m falling into a black hole.
