Am I alone in finding the first few paragraphs of the Abbas case (which are nothing to do with the substance of the appeal under question) - http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Civ/2005/652.html - fascinating, depressing, and a germane reminder of the need for proper representation throughout all tiers of adjudication in this country?
