We have been told by someone in the DWP that from today no temporary national insurance numbers will be issued.
I have tried to validate this information but without any success. Does anybody have any information about this?
We are a charity that deals with refugees and this could present a problem as regards claiming benefits, as we were told it takes 6-8 weeks to get an appointment to get a NINO.
