The Citizens Advice service annual conference and AGM, takes place at the University of York from 25 - 27 September this year.

'The conference attracts more than 1,000 delegates from Citizens Advice Bureaux every year and is a key event in the Citizens Advice service calendar. Over the course of three days, it provides an excellent opportunity for an organisation to promote its products and services to bureau managers and trustees, key speakers and exhibitors as well as Citizens Advice staff. In addition, the conference provides a relaxed environment in which to network with others from like-minded organisations.

Speakers confirmed for this year's event include -

  • Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive, Legal Services Commission
  • Julia Unwin CBE, Director, Joseph Rowntree Foundation
  • John Sirodcar, Head of Direct Services, CLS Direct
  • Michael Bell, Michael Bell Associates
  • Steve Johnson, Chief Executive, Advice UK

There are some limited places available for delegates external to the service. For more information contact annual.conference@citizensadvice.org.uk

We also have a wide range of sponsorship opportunities to offer organisations that are seeking to establish a partnership with the Citizens Advice service -

  • The Social Policy awards ceremony
  • The Volunteer of the Year Awards ceremony
  • One of the seven theme meetings based around this year's 'Partners in Progress' theme, at which you may introduce your organisation, display your brand and disseminate appropriate literature to participating delegates – each meeting has in excess of 100 attendees
  • One of the regional receptions, which are held on the first evening of the conference and attended by delegates from that region
  • The informal, but ever popular, quiz night!

We can also offer -

  • A choice of exhibition stands enabling you and your organisation to promote your issues, services and brand to delegates effectively
  • A wide range of both colour and black and white advertising options in the official conference brochure (which every delegate receives)
  • The option of participation through our 'day delegate' opportunity
