Income Support DP Backdating further to successful IB appeal
Wed 21-May-08 03:02 PM

We have a client who was sucessful in appealing an IB PCA finding her fit for work. During the appeal client claimed JSA. IS have now refused to backdate the DP payable on the grounds that client claimed JSA as being fit for work and failed to submit a separate appeal against the IS decision. They have forwarded a schedule of evidence and the matter is to go before the Appeal Service. Has anybody had similar problems? Any advise welcomed. Thanks
