RNID launched its new website last week, amongst other things there is a section entitled factsheets which contains information on a wide range of topics, in particular a number of these factsheets relate to benefits and how deafness may lead to an award of benefit.

There is also a factsheet specifically aimed at advisors who are taking a hearing impaired case through the appeals process. Support can also be obtained by contacting RNID's casework team at caseworkteam@rnid.org.uk
