housing & council tax benefit

Is there anyone out there from Liverpool who can remember what year Liverpool City Council started to diregard war pension in full for housing benfit puposes. And for how may years did they count war pension as income? and when?

Liverpool only "regarded" war pensions as income for one year - they got so much flak they packed it in after a year. That was about 10 years ago.

If you really need the precise date, you are probably better to contact the Council and ask them directly.

only a partial answer ..... but they were disregarding it in 1990/91
