A man with amnesia is facing difficulties in claiming benefits as he has no ID or Ni No. We have a date of birth but incorrect name. He cannot remember his proper name, where he was born or any previous addresses.

This seems an impossible situation - can anyone advise?

What difficulties are you having ? Is benefit being refused or is it simply that you are hitting a brick wall? Can you also say which benefits are involved AND what sort of accomodation he is living in.
