I have a client who was refused AA recently. I am assisting with an appeal but I am concerned that she may have limited grounds.
The client has been treated for anxiety and panic attacks for the last three years. The anxiety effects her on a daily basis, with the help of her very supportive extended family she is never alone and is petrified at the prospect of being alone in or outside the home.
She suffers from panic attacks and needs at least half of hour of calm talking from another person for her to calm.
She also suffers from arthritis and needs help in the bath. But can dress etc without help.
Has anyone had any success with this kind of case, any tips for success?
