I have recently had a client who's HB was calculated wrongly due to a glitch in the academy system

cl 65, partner working, no PC, one dependent child - academy appears to correctly remove CB and CTC income from calculation but then proceeds to remove child and family premium entirely.

has any one else come across this? although HB reacted very promptly and are currently revsing my clents claim there must be a good number of people who may have been refused benefit entirely or have wrong award.?

I have seen two similar errors on Academy recently...

1. HB should have been £18 pw, suddenly gave her full HB which would have resulted in a large o/p as client in temp accom..

2. HB suspended a claim for full HB and informed client it was due to them moving house... when he hadnt...

Makes you wonder how many o/p's accrue due to Academy problems which are then clawbacked from the clients, when it is not their fault...
