RE: Industrial injuries medical reports

Having done 1000's of these appeals in the nineties, it is always essential to get an independant report from a cardio vascular surgeon, including an opinion on the percentage of disability suffered as a result of the relevant loss of faculty arising out of the disease or injury. Then do a submission based on what the client could do before the onset of the disease and what they are unable to do now. (For A11 it would be personal care needs such as unable to grip to prepare food for a main meal, do up button, zips, shoelaces etc, simple DIY like changing plugs, decoration, hanging pictures etc etc, all the things that are impaired when suffering a loss of fine grip.)
Has your client claimed low rate care DLA? If not, they should do straight away.
