I have a missing giro case where DWP are not playing ball and the matter has been dragging on for a while. having looked at the current CPAG handbook (see page 991) was a bit at sea in light of the complete absence of anything useful but after a search on good old rightsnet found this discussion:

Checking back to the 03/04 handbook it seems that there was a much more detailed section on getting replacements, cross refenced to the Walsh case (which I have found thanks again to RN) and the missing payments guide (which I haven't found yet). So what happened to all the guidance in CPAG? Surley it hasn't been removed on the asumption that everyone is now happy and content with direct payments? Have I missed something?

according to the dwp website you can get the Missing payments guide in hardcopy and electronic format, for free from -
