Just look at his foot!
Thu 16-Jun-05 01:57 PM

Any one got a copy of CI/01-02(IB)(T)? That confirms a tribunal is not prohibited from looking at a body part if so offered by the claimant.

My client has an awful looking foot and says hes VUTW as he cannot walk at all without severe discomfort.

Just for info.

The med ev from the EMP is slight impairment (2) in the ankle.

GP says Not Known.

I'm using R(DLA)4/04 as well.

Thanks

I can recall tribunals reacting like startled horses when clients attempted to whip out body parts for inspection. Might be worth submitting or taking along a couple of photographs as back-up.

Steve

I suppose it depends on what body parts you are talking about.

I've had a client breast feed in a tribunal (chair sitting alone) and the (male) chair didn't bat an eye lid; which was, of course, how it should be.

regards
Paul
