New DMG memo on HRMC and need for a physical cause
Fri 27-Jan-06 03:54 PM

As it is Friday afternoon, I thought I would catch up on some reading and see what the DWP made of the recent tribunal of commissioner's decision on the need for there to be a physical cause that makes a person virtually unable to walk.

Accordingly, had a look at http://www.dwp.gov.uk/publications/dwp/dmg/memletrs/m10-02-6.pdf

All went well until I got to:

Example 3
Basil has a verucca. He has difficulty walking however the effect is minimal and he would not satisfy the conditions for being virtually unable to walk.

What the?

No DLA for veruccas? outrage.....
