Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble getting the search engine to work?

I have had some problems. There was a warning on the site last week that there might be teething troubles. The warning's gone but it still doesn't seem to work as well as it might.

No, all I get is "HELLO" when I use the normal addy. Try
http://www.osscsc.gov.uk/decisions/decisions.htm It's the all singing all dancing new DoCS administered site.

p.s. It hasn't got a "Next" button, so if you have searched and got a few decisions you have to click back and remember which one you just looked at......not an improvement for those of us with concentration and memory probs lol

every search i make results in an error page. OSSCSC website people advise that it is working fine as far as they can see, and i'm waiting for them to get back to me again, but meanwhile, i can't access any searches on that site... bummer...

just a quick note re rightsnet briefcase .....

with the redesign of the osscsc site, the web address of decisions published to the site all changed too and, as a result, the links to the decisions from each briefcase summary needed to be updated (all 400+ of them !!)

ken and I have been busy getting all the links working again, and are almost there ... just got hb and incapacity benefit left to do ..... and these will be completed tomorrow

apologies for any inconvenience in the interim .......

cheers - shawn

My big beef with the new site is that on the previous site it was possible to scroll through items which had been searched for but on the new site you have to go back to the results each time. Given that there is still no free text searching it is common to have to scroll through several decisions before a relevant decision is located.

This seriously increases the time taken to go through the cases.

Briefcase helps but sometimes it is helpful to search through the site itslef.

"I have e-mailed OSSC on tg.webmaster@dca.gsi.gov.uk and have had a reply which says:
The design on the new website was the design approved by the Tribunal.
However your comments will be forwarded to the Commissioners office and we will let them know that this feature can be added if they so desire.
Thank you for your feedback"

Which is not encouraging
