'... personally knowledgeable, 'knows the answers', but works to get the best from others ... Has an open, listening style, uses humour, yet does not suffer fools ... Is not a 'visionary', yet sees the bigger picture ....'
... the ideal HB manager according to new DWP research

Be interesting to see what people want from welfare rights team managers...

I would like to place on record that our HB Manager is a very very very Lady, and the fact that she is very shortly going to be placing her much valued signature on my next pay related progress report has not influenced me whatsoever........

Always knew you were a straight-up guy, Mike - far too honest and decent to be influenced by mere money. But what's your HB Manager going to think about being referred to as "a very, very, very Lady"? What's one of those? Is it good or bad?

That depends on the way one was brought up, and the influences that an era had upon one ......

personally I was a teenager in the early 60's and had the good fortune to meet some very very nice ladies, who sort of rounded off my education.......

(Are we allowed to say that on here Shawn?)

Hey! I was a teenager in the early sixties too! What I didn't have the nous to do back then was join the CND. A mate of mine told me, before Shawn 'moderates' us, that he joined that organisation because he guessed (correctly) that it would be full of very, very nice young ladies with very, very liberal views!

Don't worry - Shawn only censors you if your surname begins with a "K" and you live in South Wales ....
