I know there are various decisions which deal with the difference in meaning in Social Security law between:
"in receipt of"
"entitled to"
and
"in payment"
Anybody able to point me in the right direction with references?
We need it for a case involving the interpretation of Article 14(2) of the Order in Council for USA /UK co-operation (what fun---- they even seem to have benefits in ameriKa which is perhaps the most shocking thing about the case).
Phrases like that tend to mean what the decision-maker thinks they should mean in the particular context.
